"Old characterful building with a great porch to sit on of an evening. We had a nice takeaway Chinese from over the road with a bottle of wine and watched the world go by. Room and bathroom were spotless but they are old fashioned. This is a character property not Motel 6. The guy running the place was very helpful. I’d happily stay there again...."

"I travel for work to the area a few times a year and this is my preferred place to stay. I love staying here. The property is historical. The rooms are cozy and individually decorated. The beds are comfortable as well which is truly all I care about. Breakfast is homemade with many unique items. The staff is accomodating and check in is easy. Just a quick walk down the street to restaurants, boutiques, and bars, and it's easy to drive in and out. Highly recommend for 'low maintenance' travellers. Cheers!..."
